Greyhounds

Photo and Art by David Wooten: The portrats were taken from two different images and combined in photoshop. Then they were color adjusted and sized for composition. The background painted in Corel Painter X as a winter scene. The greyhounds were then imported into Corel Painter X on two different layers, each greyhound seperate. When working with painter it is best to work with layers so you can have control of each part of the painting starting from the back working to the front, as in this painting.

This painting had been donated for the purpose of promoting the Greyhound Pets of America or The Northwest Greyhound Agency.A great opportunity to meet with owners and agencies who are looking for those wanting to adopt greyhounds. The project started when meeting a volunteer worker at PetCo and setting up a photo shot at the library in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
